Male Androgenetic Alopecia (AAGM)

virtual clinic

The stripping is done according to a particular topography and evolution of which we proposed a multifactorial dynamic classification which takes into account multiple parameters such as the extent of the bald and hairy surfaces compared to certain fixed landmarks of the face, the elasticity and the Scalp thickness, the hair’s covering power according to density, gauge, shape, length, shoot speed and color.

Various stages are thus defined.

Stage I Accentuation of the temporal gulfs with possible appearance of a tonsure at the level of the vertex.

Stage II Retreat from the frontal line to the top of the skull, possibly associated with a tonsure)

Stage III Baldness called “Hippocratic” where the hair only persist on a crown at the temples and neck.

Surgical correction of AAGM involves micrograft transplantation, adapted to the stages described above:
– For stage I, implantation of 1,000 hairs in 1 to 2 sessions. The implantation of 2,000 to 3,000 hairs is sometimes necessary during tonsure.

– For stage II, implantation of 2,000 to 3,000 hairs in 1 to 2 sessions. Up to 4,000 hair during tonsure.

– For stage III, up to 6,000 implanted hair, in 2 to 3 sessions.

How much do hair implants cost?

The price varies from 1800 € to 4800 € depending on the number of grafts and the chosen destination.
